Wichita State claimed the most votes in the men's and women's coaches pre-championship poll.

Reed Fischer (Drake), Jared Kern (Southern Illinois), Taylor Austin (Indiana State), and Jamesia Milton (Wichita State) were named MVC Track and Field Athletes of the Week.

Reed Fischer of Drake and Polina Dozortseva of Southern Illinois have been selected Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athletes of the Week, presented by Enterprise Bank and Trust Company.

Jake Mazanke of Loyola and Tanaporn Thongsing of Wichita State have been selected Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athletes of the Week, presented by Enterprise Bank and Trust Company.

Brandon Carnes (UNI), Kyle Landon (SIU), Alethia Marrero (INS) and Sarah Pate (UNI) were named MVC Track and Field Athletes of the Week.
